What is hiding in your duct work?
The best way to get rid of contaminants in your duct work is to have the ducts professionally cleaned. According to the EPA, air pollution levels inside can be 2-5 times higher than outside. Dust, dirt, pollen, animal dander, and other unwanted allergens all cycle through your central air system multiple times per day. While dirty ducts don’t necessarily mean unhealthy air in your home, school or workplace, they may be contributing to larger health issues,or harboring contaminants that could cause serious problems for people with respiratory health conditions, autoimmune disorders or some environmental allergies.
How does it work?
First, our technicians use a video inspection system to evaluate your duct work. We look for excessive dust, dirt, debris, animal droppings, and other contaminants to determine whether cleaning is necessary.
The cleaning process begins by removing all of your register covers and thoroughly scrubbing away the dirt and grime. We will then insert the a hose and rotating brush head into the air ducts.
After the ducts have been scrubbed clean, we can fog them with an EPA-registered antimicrobial mist that disinfects and leaves behind a refreshing scent.
